Be JewishMay 31 2005Mechanical Engineering
Be Jewish. Ha only kidding. A few years ago the Wall Street journal had an articel about how Vandy wants more Jews...the original way I even HEARD of the school and first applied (btw the jewish population is sky rocketing. The senior class was like 4% my freshman class was 14% and still rising every year at about that rate. Now if your jewish does it REALLY help...not much. But if your jewish work that into your essays, don't just say "I'm jewish" and think your in.

Well assuming your looking into the colleges as a senior it's kind of late for everything in your application except for the essays. So work into the essay how you are unique. (like I said, jewish lol) But ever little detail. For example, at a speech our chanellor gave there was a longgg list of random things people did/were in our class. Two belly dancers, a baton twiller...I'm telling you, ever detail some how get them to know.
ACT: 27 SAT: 1300 Male

I was involved in significant leadership positions in highMar 26 2005Political Science
I was involved in significant leadership positions in high school, including newspaper editorships, peer leadership positions, and leadership in numerous campus performing arts groups. I also had high SATs and reasonably high (A-) GPA. Also, I applied early. I would recommend applying early to anyone who is seriously interested in the school... your chances are much higher that way.
SAT: 1500 Male
